He and his fiancee Catti resort to all means to save his life's work and they get unexpected help from the past.

After giving birth to a son, Catti and her husband Mikael get entangled in an organization that hides illegal immigrants in Sweden. They slowly realize that their picture perfect country in reality is built on police brutality, state coercion and inhuman immigration policies.

Ragnar Persson, a 68-year-old widower, is living at his summer cottage with his son, Mikael, and his son's pregnant girlfriend, Catti. Ragnar falls in love with his neighbour, Vendela, who runs an apple orchard. Mikael is carrying on an affair with Susanne, a childhood friend who is married to Henning, the owner of the local apple juice plant. A great rift in the family opens up when Mikael, who is always broke, accuses Vendela of just trying to get his father's money.

For a full day, Gina and Verner can look into each other's lives. A short comedy about small secrets and what happens when you can no longer keep them secret.

This is story about an elderly man who's wife has just passed away. He is carrying her remains in an antique vase for burial at their cottage in the country. The story relates the trip of the old man, his son, a middle aged rock singer who lives a bohemian life in an old bus, and the son's young girl friend (Catti). Many comical mishaps and adventures befall them (and the urn) on the way to the cottage, where the story has a surprise ending. On a deeper level, the story is about the relationships between the three main characters and how they change during the journey.

The Swedish cabinet meet in Stockholm to decide upon the best reply to the German demands.
