Five years after the all-out war between the Sanno and Hanabishi crime families, former yakuza boss Otomo works in South Korea for Mr. Chang, a noted fixer. When tensions rise between Chang and the Hanabishi, and Chang's life is endangered, Otomo returns to Japan to settle things once and for all.

The film begins with the Shinkengers defeating the Ayakashi Demebakuto. As he assumes his second life, he captures the Shinkengers in mirrors as he sends them into a series of different dimensions (all different film genres) in order make them suffer for his amusement before actually killing them. First, the Shinkengers appear in the jidaigeki Lord's log of Notable Events, fighting a group of samurai, shortly followed by a Western showdown between Genta and Ginshirō, the owner of the rival sushi stand Silver Zushi, over whose food is better in Wild Grip. Then the scene changes again to the cop drama Passionate Version with the vassals as cops while Takeru is being held hostage as the Shinkengers starts to realize that something is wrong.

Takeshi Kitano plays a version of himself in which he's a struggling director cycling through a number of different genres in an effort to complete his latest project.

Atsushi, a former member of the Self-Defense Forces, meets Naoko after picking up a lost cell phone. The two fall in love and share a passionate relationship. One day, Naoko suddenly vanishes. When Atsushi coincidentally sees her again, she confesses that she is the wife of a yakuza member and wants to escape her sadistic husband. Atsushi promises to run away with her. However, they are quickly found—Atsushi is left critically injured, and Naoko is taken captive and subjected to cruel mistreatment. Filled with love for Naoko and fury toward the yakuza, Atsushi storms the villa to rescue her.

A detective starts spiraling out of control when a wave of gruesome murders with seemingly similar bizarre circumstances is sweeping Tokyo.

Shinji and Masaru spend most of their school days harassing fellow classmates and playing pranks. They drop out and Shinji becomes a small-time boxer, while Masaru joins up with a local yakuza gang. However, the world is a tough place.
