A romantic gangster thriller

Magic Lamp is a 2008 Indian Malayalam film, directed by K. K. Haridas and produced by Cherupuzha Jose. The film stars Jayaram, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Kottayam Nazeer and Meena in lead roles. The film had musical score by Ouseppachan.

Gopala Krishna is forced into rehabilitating Lalitha, an amnesiac. He pretends to be her husband in order to help her recover but problems arise when her real husband shows up.

Vedham is a South Indian Tamil film released in 2001. The film has Arjun and Sakshi in the lead roles with Vineeth, Divya Unni, Goundamani and Senthil playing important roles. Arjun is the director of the movie.The film was a commercial success. Actor Vishal worked as one of the assistant directors in the film. his movie is about how Arjun travels to a new location and fixes a marriage in tatters. Divya Unni and Vinit are on the verge of breaking the marriage when Arjun narrates his love story and makes them fond of each other. However, at the end of the movie, Arjun's story was partially fiction as his wife Sakshi is now dead.

Nandakumar (Mukesh) runs an internet cafe. A turn of events lands his life in utter chaos. He has to look for his father, who had abandoned the family years back, to clear some confusion.

Sivaraman belongs to a low caste and is a cobbler by profession. He was orphaned as a little boy and has since been brought up by a couple belonging to the lower caste. A trip to the 'agraharam' brings back memories of his childhood and he realises that he is in fact a Brahmin and the son of the head priest at the temple. Wishing to help his real family while at the same time unable to forget the parents who adopted him, he shuffles between the two vastly different worlds. Maheswar, a lower caste woman, waits for him back home while Gayatri falls in love with him in his new life.

Kannan's (Karthik) ambition in life is to take up the construction of the temple left incomplete by his forefathers. Funds are not forthcoming. Goundamani assures him that with his employer's help Kannan's dream could become a reality. But Goundamani is disappointed when his employer, the wealthy landlady's (Manorama) grandson Raghu (Ranjith) turns out to be money minded and heartless. In a fit of anger, Goundamani pushes him into the waters of a river and thinks he has committed a murder. Predictably Kannan is made to enter the scene as an impostor. What follows next forms the crux of the story.

The two prominent families in town, that of Pareil Pappu's (Janardanan) & that of Mampalli Chackappan's (V.K. Sriraman), were always at loggerheads, with most conversations resulting in fisticuffs. Pappu's dreaded nephew Antony (Suresh Gopi) poses a constant headache for Chackappan, but Chackappan's daughter Nimmy (Divya Unni) & Antony fall in love. Chackappan & Pappu forget their differences & unite, but soon after, Pappu is shot dead by a mysterious sniper & Antony sets out to find the killer.

A newly married couple give birth to a baby who is the reincarnation of goddess Devi; the goddess takes human form to battle evil.
