Sakichi Sato

Kei Watanabe is a fifth grade elementary school student. He has inherited the hunter's blood to hunt yōkai. To save the world from being destroyed, Kei Watanabe challenges a war against the yōkai.

It’s 1940, and the population of Japan is divided over its entry into World War II. Satoko, the wife of a fabric merchant, is devoted to her husband but is beginning to suspect he’s up to something. Soon she allows herself to be drawn into a game in which she enigmatically conceals her intentions.

Orphan girl Mei is adopted by a wealthy family and receives the ticket out of the orphanage. The girl finds herself with a sister who has arrived at the family under similar circumstances. They bond and become close. Things take a turn for the worse, however, when the family's fortunes take a nosedive allowing the family to keep no more than one of the girls. That means someone has to trod back to the orphanage. Well, neither is volunteering.

Mei lives in an orphanage, but she is adopted by the wealthy and kind Uda family. The family already has an adopted daughter Rana. While Rana seems weird, Mei and Rana find that they have a lot in common and become like real sisters. The girls then learn that the Uda family's business has collapsed and they can only keep one of the daughters. One of the girls will be returned to the orphanage in a week. Revenge is soon planned.

Keisuke Ninomiya (Yu Yokoyama) works as a construction consultant. Through his work, he becomes acquainted with yakuza Yasuhiko Kuwabara (Kuranosuke Sasaki). One day, film producer Koshimizu brings a movie investment proposal to yakuza leader Shimada. Shimada decide to invest in the film and he assigns Yasuhiko Kuwabara to oversee his investment in the film. Film producer Koshimizu though runs away with their investment money. Keisuke and Yasuhiko struggle to get Shimada’s money back from Koshimizu.

Almost all of the dialogue and narration is extracted from the original work, with only minor differences in the storyline as follows. Yashiro Ryusuke's own home is located on Y Koji. When he first accompanies Kanako on the road, Kagawa meets her in front of Yashiro's house, and Kamei also appears there. Dr Asano's wife did not show up. It is explained that Kagawa has two girls (in the original story, one is a student at a girls' school, but the gender of the other is unknown). The introduction of the 'one in 500 murderers' is told against the backdrop of Kindaichi excavating an air-raid shelter (which appears to have been made from a natural cave).

First business trip away from Tokyo in a while

High school student Shun Takahata is bored. Bored with the day-to-day monotony of school and life, he prays for change, for something exciting. Katsutoshi is forced to flee his hometown and ends up at a rundown nightclub called "Tokyo Playboy Club." His hot-headedness gets him into further trouble, and the club's waiter Takahiro and his girlfriend Eriko also get caught up in it as their underworld predicament worsens to the point of no return.
