Elodie and Laetitia live in close love and dream of having a child. As Elodie discovers that she cannot get pregnant because of a health problem and encounters financial troubles, they decide to take a roommate.

Jacky is a lion tamer in a traveling circus. He was born there, he has lived there, and he intends to die there. But today, he received a letter. The government is going to ban the breeding of wild animals. Soon, only animals considered domestic will be allowed in the ring. With his back against the wall, Jacky searches for a solution, but the threat looms large.

Margaret, 35, has a history of violent behaviour which has cost her a romantic relationship. She has moved back in with her mother Christina, a fragile, immature 55-year-old woman who blames Margaret, her firstborn, for ruining her dreams of a career as a concert pianist. I give a methodical account of my film work: the creation of new series (Lire, Trio, Avec Mariola), the shooting of a new feature film (Amours décolorées which will take ten years to edit) with Mariola San Martin.
