Nils Poppe was one of Sweden's comedy greats but in this film his daughter, the actress Mia Poppe, wants to find answers to his inner darkness - hidden from the masses.

When the music teacher goes to Paris, the princess follows him and pretends to be her own twin sister, who works in a shoe shop. Nils Poppe plays the cheerful shoemaker Fabian Filosel.
