In this direct continuation of the earlier special, Godai tries to figure out what to do with his life after college while competing with Kyoko's impossibly perfect tennis coach for her affection.

Based on a hit manga by Takahashi Rumiko, this is a romantic comedy about the relationship of Otonashi Kyoko, the beautiful widow and manager of a boarding house and Godai Yusaku, a poor student tenant.

Despite this set back, with the love and devotion of his wife Hiroko and four children, he decides to live life the best he can, to the fullest, without having his life prolonged with further treatment

An off-beat comedy about 3 'damejin' (useless persons), who don't work and spend their lives doing nothing. They actually don't want to work. When they hear 'in India one can live without working' they take it seriously. They begin to raise the money to go to India by doing anything but working, such as ripping off stamps from others' letters to sell, robbery at the bank which itself went bankrupt, etc.

When middle-aged salary man Tsubakiyama suddenly dies, he leaves his family high and dry. But suddenly he's given another chance: a few days in which to return to Earth and straighten things out. The thing is, he's come back in the form of a strikingly beautiful young woman.

Set one year after the events of the original series, Densha Otoko has now become very popular and Akihabara, has become overrun with normal people getting in on the otaku craze. With Densha's popularity on the rise a corporation offers ten million yen to anyone who can find his real identity. Meanwhile, Tsuyoshi tries to keep his and Saori's identities from being discovered.

Three stories are told, respectively set in Tokyo, Taipei, and Shanghai. The first two stories are about a Japanese person and a Taiwanese person. The last one is set in Shanghai with a story about a Japanese man and a Chinese woman. Some of the characters can speak Japanese and some of them Mandarin. Each story encompasses an experience of a foreigner, either from Japan ,Taiwan or China, with a native of the opposite country.
