A pregnant woman receives ultimatums from a supernatural entity to commit murders or face the death of her unborn child.

After their father is conscripted during the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia, three sisters begin a Hi8 video diary in their countryside home. They film each other putting on make-up, picking cherries, playing party games, getting into fights and helping their mother cook. This fragile, intimate world is perhaps their only shelter from the reality of bombings, sirens and war.

Maks is a brilliant lawyer who has been serving for years one of Croatia’s most powerful and ruthless businessmen, who made his fortune in the aftermath of the Balkan War. Maks’ latest service has been to have his client declared innocent of the murder of two of his workers for acting in self-defense. But the sudden appearance of a former girlfriend triggers a crisis of conscience in Maks, leading him to confront his employer and risk his life by uncovering a dense network of corruption at the highest level involving all branches of the State.

Belgrade in 1993. The pent-up tension of uncertain times is released at a children’s birthday party. While the kids celebrate in the living room dressed up as Ninja Turtles, the adults discuss, flirt, smoke and drink in the kitchen.

Ten-year-old Jovan was born with partial cerebral palsy. Shy, self-conscious and without many friends, he often escapes in his imagination to a place where he is a crime-fighting superhero not limited by his own body. His world shifts when a new girl arrives in his class. Milica, not intimidated by much, chooses the seat next to Jovan and immediately enlists him to help her free her father from his girlfriend, whom she is convinced is a witch who has placed her father under a spell.

A five-year-old boy spends a day with his father, whom he only occasionally sees, in nature, with the game of calling Echo. After a great emotional charge that the play and the presence of his father create in him, he returns to his mother's house, where there is no place for such outbursts of 'irrational' attitude towards the world.

The story takes place in the Belgrade mental hospital on Guberevac during the WWI, where notable Serbian writer Petar Kočić spends his last years of life. The safety of mental hospital in a war-torn Belgrade is disrupted when the deputy military governor in occupied Belgrade, Kosta Herman, finds out that Kočić is in the hospital and decides to settle old scores with him.

In the center of Podgorica, under the bridge on river Moraca, the corpse is found. Quickly we learn that it is well known member of a criminal organization.

A young boy accidentally squeezes his pet bird to death. At sunset the bird resurrects itself and confronts the boy with his actions.

Moma is a hobo and suffers from depression. Ema is a hobo and had been treated for alcoholism. Moma lives in the abandoned factory premises. Ema lives in the shaft. Moma liked Ema at first sight. Ema liked Moma at second sight.
