The event also saw fights between former UFC Heavyweight Champions Andrei Arlovski and Ben Rothwell, Josh Barnett took on Pedro Rizzo, and former UFC Light-heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort fought Terry Martin. Former UFC standout Matt Lindland and former Pride FC standout Antônio Rogério Nogueira also competed.
