Because of a scoring error at UFC on FX: Alves vs. Kampmann, a majority draw between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall was mistakenly announced as a victory for Johnson. Dana White announced the error following the conclusion of the event and that Johnson and McCall would have a rematch.

UFC on Versus 6: Cruz vs. Johnson was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on October 1, 2011 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.. This event featured a UFC Bantamweight Championship bout between champion Dominick Cruz and #1 contender Demetrious Johnson, which was the first UFC title fight to be aired live at a free televised UFC event since UFC 75 in September 2007.

UFC Fight Night 17: Lauzon vs. Stephens was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on February 7 2009. Originally named UFC Fight Night: Lauzon vs. Franca, Jeremy Stephens stepped up to take on Joe Lauzon after Hermes Franca suffered a torn ACL during training and could no longer participate in this event.Derek Downey replaced Amir Sadollah after he was sidelined with a broken clavicle. Dan Miller replaced Alessio Sakara who pulled out of the bout with a shoulder injury. Matt Veach replaced George Sotiropoulos who suffered a rib injury.
