WEC 18: Unfinished Business was a mixed martial arts event promoted by World Extreme Cagefighting on January 13, 2006 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California.

WEC 17: Halloween Fury 4 was a mixed martial arts event promoted by World Extreme Cagefighting on October 14, 2005 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. A light heavyweight tournament was held with the winner being crowned the champion and given a deal with the UFC.

UFC 49: Unfinished Business was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It featured the anticipated rubber match between Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort and Randy Couture, following a disappointing doctor's stoppage in their last encounter at UFC 46.

UFC 43: Meltdown was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on June 6, 2003, at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Headlining the card was the Interim Light Heavyweight Championship match between Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell.

KOTC 8: Bombs Away was an MMA event held on April 29, 2001 at the Colusa Casino in Williams, California, United States.

Pride 9: New Blood was a mixed martial arts event held by the Pride Fighting Championships. It took place at the Nagoya Rainbow Hall in Nagoya, Japan on June 4, 2000. Matt Serra was to fight on this card, but his opponent, Johil de Oliveira, was injured by a pyrotechnics explosion at the event.

KOTC 6: Road Warriors was an event held on November 29, 2000, at The Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, United States.

Pride 2 was a mixed martial arts event held by KRS-Pride (later renamed Pride Fighting Championships). It took place at Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan on March 15, 1998. Kazushi Sakuraba, Mark Kerr, Vernon White, and Marco Ruas all made their Pride debuts at this event. In addition to the MMA events, there were also two kickboxing events.
