A family drama about a friendship between horse and 10 years old boy.

The film tells about the childhood of Yuri Gagarin, about that time of life, which, in his own words, played an important role in shaping his character: war, the occupation of their villages by the Germans, famine, the theft of the elder brother and sister to Germany, the expulsion of the Nazis from Smolensk, moving family in the city of Gzhatsk.

There were three sisters — Vera, Nadezhda and Lyubov. Vera, having survived unhappy love, goes to the monastery, where she gives birth to a child. The child dies, Vera commits suicide. Lyuba and grandmother attend church and maintain relations with priest Aleksandr. To Nadezhda that condemns their religiosity, it seems that Lyuba is in love with father Aleksandr. She comes home to him and demands that he stop dating Lyuba. However, it turns out that Aleksandr is in love with Nadezhda. Knowing him better, she reciprocates him, facing a difficult choice, Aleksandr breaks with religion.

Herminio, a student from Milan, arrives in the port town. From his old friend Carlo, the owner of the tavern, he learns about the embezzler governor, who imposed an exorbitant tax on fishermen, that the governor is going to marry his wayward son to a rich widow, the beautiful Charlotte, with whom Erminio is secretly in love, and about the sinister sea robber Gasparone, whose role is to be played... Herminio himself.

Andryusha and his fifth-grade comrades in a pile of scrap raw materials found poorly bound typewritten pages with the inscription "Attack." The guys enthusiastically read this collection of frontline stories. Their author Bukin, it turns out, lives nearby, in the next quarter. The man is middle-aged and sickly; however, he does not succumb to the blows of fate. He devotes all his strength to the preservation of forest wealth, and in his free time from these worries he continues to write stories, recalling certain episodes of a rich front-line life ...

A long time ago a splendid deer with golden antlers lived in the woods, always protecting the poor and weak and disdaining evil. In a little village nearby the woods widow Yevdokya lived with her twin daughters Mashenka and Dashenka, her son and her old father. One day the girls observe robbers hunting the deer. Shortly after they are lured into the woods by forest spirits. Infuriated about their presence, witch Baba Yaga turns them into fawns. Meanwhile, Yevdokya searches for her daughters. For protecting the deer of robbers she gets a magical ring to protect her from danger. The deer advises her to set off to the red sun or the clear moon. But both cannot reach the magic woods with their light. Finally, the boy accompanied by his cat goes in search for sisters and mother.

Zhenya Prokhorov, a pupil of an orphanage, draws the attention of the director of the capital's choir school. The professor strongly advises Zhenya to study. Having become a soloist in the boys' choir, Zhenya does not refuse from "left" concerts organized by the enterprising Victor Victorovich - and one day tears his voice. The young hero bears the first loss with dignity, and after graduating from the school enters the conservatory at the faculty of composition.

One day, King Yeremei decides to go on a long hike in order to consider all his areas and compile their register. A well appears on his way home, but as soon as the sovereign bent over him, he was seized by the underwater king Chudo-Yudo and demanded an unusual ransom for his release — that which is in the state of Yeremei, but which he does not know about. The tsar is forced to agree to these conditions, because he thinks that each blade of grass was taken into account in the inventory — he still does not suspect that in his absence the Queen gave birth to him an heir.

Sasha Larionov, is in the eighth grade and still doesn't know that his mother has left the family. Sasha's father, a decent and very honest person, was used to telling people only the truth. But here he doesn't now how to tell his son that the mother left them for another man and therefore explains her long absence from a long business trip. However, soon Sasha finds out the truth and decides to go after his mom, hoping to get her back
