
Manfried Sant'Anna (Niterói, April 29, 1936), known artistically as Dedé Santana, is a Brazilian comedian, actor, director and screenwriter. Best known for his role in the television series Os Trapalhões, where he was one of the four protagonists.

At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the clown Nanaca and his team of circus performers find themselves trapped inside the circus, unable to do what they love most, which is bringing joy to people. As time goes by, hunger begins to plague the circus family, who are looking for a way to survive in the midst of the pandemic, but they have to face the fury and brutality of the police chief of the city where the circus is closed.

Since the ban on use of animals in circus shows, the Great Sumatra Circus faces a major financial crisis. Baron, who owns the circus, accepts unseemly proposals from the mayor to hold cattle auctions, rallies and other alternative events at the circus. Unhappy with the news, circus artists come together to plan a new show and re-attract the audience, led by Didi, Dedé and Karina.

At 80, Polidoro decides to demolish the stability of his comfortable life as a retired judge and become owner of a strip club.
