French horror comedy short from 1947.

A montage of some home movies taken by Archie Stewart (1902-1998), an early enthusiast in taken 16 mm sound films of his family. We see his daughters, Mary and Anne, playing in the aftermath of a January, 1936, snowstorm. Next, indoors, the girls bring in a birthday cake and sing to Archie. He has Anne read to him from a children's book, and a year later, has her read aloud to show her progress. Anne and Mary dress up Pat the family dog in a dress and scarf and hold a tea party, chattering away. Archie's high-pitched voice provides narration on and off camera.

Everything in this world follows the movement of a child, i.e. in a virtual manner with an optical angle of 360 degrees. In this way, the concept of linear perspective we have had since the Renaissance is replaced by a new system of perspective, the ‘water-drop perspective-system'. Question: is this film a sort of two-dimensional virtual reality? Answer: no, virtual reality means that we construct our artificial world. I am much more interested in the surrounding real world. Barry, Igor, and Butterscotch are three young amateur filmmakers with big dreams of becoming Hollywood directors. To gain recognition, the bumbling trio decide their next endeavor will be a short film about a jewelry store robbery. Meanwhile, two grifters, Larry and Terry, are tired of being small time criminals, so they plot to rob the local marijuana dispensary. When their actors drop out of production last minute, the filmmakers cross paths with Larry and Terry during their robbery, and the two crews join forces to make their dreams come true.
