This film begins with points of light defining a dark space out of which a female dancer (Vivienne Palmer) emerges dressed in a semi-transparent green dress. Her dance is visually 'echoed' by close-up superimpositions of her arms, legs, and feet, and then later by her distant figure seeming to mimic and/or perhaps to control her foregrounded, cometimes back-lit, image. She often pauses thoughtfully in her dance, breaks step, walks away, etc., defining the perimeters of the dance. Finally she appears naked, midst dance, and takes heraldic stance at end.

A lively, eccentric dance by Frank Lawton, Etta Williamson and Rosa France of Charles Hoyt's "Milk White Flag". Atttractive costumes.

The film centers on a woman and her room. I tried to visualise the memories and the time accumulated in the room. The dancing figure that was captured using long exposures is an entity between the existential and imaginary.

« I made several underground films in the period between 1966 and 1969: "Two Sisters", "Drums", "Hommage è Marlene", "Dance", "Indian Summer", "Brigitte", "Gut dass es den Fußball gibt" and others. Most of them are experimental films shot on 8 mm material without sound. During the editing the films were synchronized with alienated, deformed music from magnetic tapes. The films were shown in universities, during parties or in music clubs. Some of the films were used later on as elements of scenery in the theatre piece "Zigger Zagger" by Peter Terson. They were projected contemporaneously on different screens in front, behind and on both sides of the audience in the theatre of Münster. » (Georg Brintrup)
