The Underground subcultures in Budapest are an integral part of the diverse and colorful Hungarian culture. The creators of the film - Esther Turan and Anna Koltay - wanted to explore what were the major youth music subcultures in the '90s and 2000s in Budapest. This film is a tribute to the underground subcultures of the city. In these series of films, these grass-roots groups deal with the social impact of their community building power and the role played by Budapest itself in the formation of these groups. The film explores the kind of atmosphere and unwritten rules, what were the dominant places, external signs, and symbols, or who were the central figures and what were the memorable stories. The film guides the viewer from the best bands to the message, from the typical attire to the cult bars. The new generation is a starting point, a complex retrospective of where it originated and why the colorful underground cultural life still characterizes Budapest today.

In the 1990s, due to an enormous amount of independent bands in activity, the great public present at the shows, and of course, in its geography, in the city of Santos earned the nickname “California Brazilian ”. Approved by one, recovered by others, the fact is that the nickname captured and the importance of the local scene in this history and undeniable. In a decade, an island - yes, Santos is on an island - exported names like Garage Fuzz, Safari Hamburguers, White Frogs and much, much more. And it matters in real time as the main trends of American hardcore and punk, reaching the point of such styles playing the city's young music in the mid-1990s, all of this coupled with a lot of surfing and skateboarding, of course. This doc deals only with this period and phenomenon, showing Brazil as stories and peculiarities of the local scene under the vision and direction of directors Rodiney Assunção and Wladimyr Cruz (“Woodstock - More than a store”, “A new wave of ").

From the beginning, LA punk band the Circle Jerks were rooted in controversy. Formed by ex members of Black Flag and Red Cross (now Redd Kross) in late 1979, the band came to encapsulate the image, sound and energy of California Hardcore Punk. Filmmaker David Markey (1991: The Year Punk Broke, The Slog Movie) mixes in-depth interviews, rare live footage and historical perspective to illustrate the story of one of the most influential bands in the American underground. My Career as a Jerk follows the band from their early days and classic debut to navigating the independent label and touring scene of the 80s to the addictions, fights and injuries that forced their break up. Of course the story doesn't quite end there.

Surprisingly, enough people liked what the band was doing that they continued to play music under the name Weekend Nachos. This documentary simply tells the story of Weekend Nachos.

You Weren't There: a History of Chicago Punk 1977-1984 is a documentary that looks back on the impact that the Punk movement had on the Windy City. Though overlooked in the annals of Rock history (compared to media centric LA, NYC and London), Chicago served as an important early supporter of the Punk movement in America. "You Weren't There" talks to the DJ's, musicians, promoters, artists and fans who were pivotal in creating the Chicago Punk scene.
