In the sequel to "Winky's Horse", 8-year old Winky looks after the horse of St Nicholas. Then one day the horse runs away.

Sinterklaas plans to celebrate his birthday lavishly. This year, he's coming to the Netherlands for the hundredth time, and that's reason for a big party. He wants every child in the Netherlands to receive an extra present this year. At the same time, the Pieten (Black Petes) plan to surprise Sinterklaas with a big party, culminating in a special performance by one of the Netherlands' most famous artists. Robbie Reuzel, whose birthday is also on December 5th, hears about Sinterklaas's grand plans and becomes furious. After all, it's not the first time his birthday has been ruined by Pakjesavond (Santa's Eve). He devises a plan to outwit Sinterklaas, taking advantage of his witty neighbor, among other things. Will Robbie Reuzel succeed in thwarting Pakjesavond, or will the Pieten smell a rat and save the Sinterklaas celebration?

How is he supposed to deliver all those gifts to all those sweet little children in one night? When Diego proposes to ask good old Santa for help, they travel to the North Pole, together with Clumsy Pete and children Max and Anna. Everything seems to work out fine, until Famke and Yvette, two escaped convicts, mess things up. Will Saint Nicolas and his Petes be able to save the feast of St. Nicholas?

Pakjesavond is in danger, and they must warn the Pieten of the Club van Sinterklaas as soon as possible! Will the Club Pieten and Mees & Katja manage to unmask the Toy Doctor in time? Will they succeed in making sure that Pakjesavond can still go ahead this year?

Who will pass the exam to become a helper and can join st. Nicholas on the boat to the Netherlands?

Max and Tikkelotje own an unsuccessful theatre company. When Tikkelotje notices Ramon - the faithful companion to Saint Nicholas - playing the guitar and singing, she decides to kidnap both him and Slechtweervandaag, Saint Nicholas’s trusty steed. Saint Nicholas is devastated, but eventually he pulls himself together and goes around the houses to collect the children’s wishlists. An adventure involving assorted people then ensues as he tried to beat the clock to rescue the hapless pair.
