In 1970, three years following his death from Huntington’s disease, an all-star cast of musicians gathered at Los Angeles, CA’s Hollywood Bowl to pay homage to iconic folk songwriter Woody Guthrie. Although the concert was a one-night-only event , four-time Emmy Award-winner Jim Brown filmed the historic Woody Guthrie All-Star Tribute Concert 1970, which included performances by Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Country Joe McDonald, Odetta, Richie Havens, Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, Earl Robinson, and The Band, along with narration by actors Will Geer and Peter Fonda.

A number of different DJs who are all close friends until Tim will play during the evening: David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. During the live concert, the singers who participated in Avicii's biggest songs - artists such as Aloe Blacc, Rita Ora, Adam Lambert and Sandro Cavazza, and others - will perform Avicii's origins simultaneously with a 30-man band.

A tribute concert co-produced with the Barbican, Talking Bob Dylan Blues celebrates Dylan's songs, his influence, his guitar playing and his delivery. All of the performers will offer their own individual view on Dylan's influence and significance to them personally. On August 19th, 2005, on what would have been the eve of his 56th birthday, a statue of Phil Lynott was unveiled in Dublin’s Grafton Street by his mother. There to witness the event were members of Thin Lizzy from throughout the band’s career. The following evening, they joined forces under the leadership of Gary Moore for a concert that paid tribute to Lynott’s memory.
