To support her orphanage, the quirky and kind-hearted Lu Yiyi takes a job as a security guard in a wealthy neighborhood. There, she unexpectedly encourages a troubled young boy, Su Yuchen. Years later, the two cross paths again—this time sparking a sweet and romantic relationship.

After recovering from a long term illness, semi-retired popular singer Wah Fong-Ying realizes that she has lived an unfulfilled life. With two failed marriages and estranged relationships with all her children, she lives a lonely life.

The "pleasant horror gag comedy" centers around the life of Tatami-chan, a sardonic ghost from Iwate Prefecture who is now living in Tokyo among other spirits, supernatural entities, and humans. In addition to dealing with otherworldly matters, the unemployed Tatami-chan also has to deal with job-hunting as well as paying for gas, water, and electricity.

Gong Seon Hwa (32 years old), a social welfare worker who's getting married to Kang Won Hyung (30 years old), a Korean culinary chef, portrayed by Ji il Joo.
