Traditional pastry artist Lyu Xiaomu and returning patisserie chef Ren Yaqi reunite through comedic matchmaking mishaps. Together, they create the "MacarMo," blending Chinese and Western desserts, and discover love and purpose while bridging tradition and modernity.

Mizuki, a retired marathon runner with limited social skills and no experience in love, struggles to adapt to her new job at a high-end hotel due to her lack of customer service skills. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Kaji, a charming dessert chef at the hotel known for his womanizing ways. After a frustrated Mizuki lashes out at him, Kaji surprisingly enlists her as his taste tester, potentially setting the stage for a sweet romance despite their seemingly incompatible lives.

Amai Koichi, a talented baker, helps handsome men with their problems by making sweets, believing love blossoms if they look into each other's eyes for 8.2 seconds.

A documentary series closely follows the work of four emerging pastry chefs in France: Nina Métayer, Nicolas Multon, Maxime Frédéric, and Marion Goettle. They are between 20 and 30 years of age and have very diverse backgrounds. Some learned from their grandmothers, while others attended great schools. And everyone talks about pastry as if it were a work of art.
