An experienced virologist, Anya Markova, gives up her personal and professional life in Moscow and moves to work at a research center in Novosibirsk. She is clearly trying to escape from some personal pain, but in a new place fate throws the heroine another test - an outbreak of an unknown disease is recorded at the site of an illegal dump of a large meat processing plant in a remote village.

Zakhar is the head of a big family who spent all his life living in a village in a private house. He is also the only one who refused to sell the land for the construction of a new residential complex. After all, not only his right to private property but also his happy memories are under threat: the old forest he knew since he was little was cut down, and the pond where he used to fish with his father was drained. While life seems to fall completely apart, Zakhar, together with his family, decides to stand his ground to the very end against urban developers, dissatisfied tenants of the newly built high-rise, and total injustice.

Rita, a social worker, is conducting an experiment: she organizes an extreme campaign in which she plans to re-educate young offenders. A post WWII criminal drama, masterfully filmed and produced. Fantastic performance, great historical details and ambience immerse the viewers into the atmosphere of post-war USSR. At the same time, the show has a modern edge thanks to the detailed characters’ psychology and backstory. The war is over but the life is far from being back to normal. It is now the war on crime and Lieutenant Denis Zhuravlev must unholster his gun and protect the safety of civilians. He has to go undercover and become a member of a brutal local gang. He is in and he’s risking his life to stop the murders and heists, but then the plot takes a very dangerous, unpredictable turn. The project is a true gem for audiences worldwide.

19-year-old Egor Chudinov goes in search of his parents, who disappeared during an ethnographic expedition to the Perm Region. Together with his uncle Nikolai and two random fellow travelers — students of philology Tanya and Nadia - Egor moves deeper into the territory, which lives according to its own laws and traditions. There is a gloomy nature here, hermits live in forest dugouts, diseases are treated by sorcerers, and the cause of troubles is considered to be damage caused by witches, and somewhere among the dense forests a bear shaman wanders. At first, Egor is skeptical about the stories about ancient creatures of Komi-Permian mythology, but gradually realizes that the world is much wider than his ideas.

Victor Gromov, once a legend of Moscow’s criminal underworld known under the nickname “Butcher”, has since retired and now spends his days enjoying life on his farm. One day, Victor’s former “colleagues” show up and tell him that he must store the mafia’s common fund in his offshore bank account. Victor has no choice but to help them.
