When she doesn't show up at the airport, he sets out on a solitary walkabout of the island. He starts sending postcards to his ex-girlfriend's house in London, with stories he hears or experiences. He doesn't know, however, that the postcards are received by the house's new occupant, Eli, who develops feelings for this mysterious man.
