This is the story of Chuuetsu Hirokai, a mother who lost her three-year-old child in a food safety incident ten years ago. Saionji Itsuki, a 38 year-old single woman who works for an app development company. She excels at her job, having created a hit number of apps, and is known for her bright, positive attitude and strong communication skills. She enjoys her single life without domestic chores, but everything changes when she suddenly ends up having to share her home with Kusumi Toshinao, an unfriendly genius engineer who has just transferred to the company, and his four year old daughter, Ruka.

Satoru Matsudo moves to Tokyo in hopes of becoming an actor. He has trouble breaking into the industry, but his luck begins to change when he finds an airplane ticket belonging to a talent agency CEO. Time passes, and Satoru makes a name for himself as an actor. He gets a call from America. Hoping it is a Hollywood offer, he instead hears about his estranged older brother.
