But one hour later, she feels herself sway a little. When she turns on the television, she realizes that what the caller said about the time and the epicenter was on the mark. After that, she receives another phone call from the same caller who identifies himself as Kazama. He says that he knows what will happen in the future because he went back to a certain spot from the future and made a fresh start in life. Calling this time travel “Repeat”, he invites Ayumi to be his guest. Besides Ayumi, Mori Keisuke and Tendo Taro are among the eight people who have been invited by Kazama to participate in “Repeat”. These eight people who are making a repeat as a result of past regrets, are hit with a series of unanticipated events.

Aizawa Hinata is a high school counselor who provides support to students with school and family problems. This is motivated by the warped relationship she had with her over-controlling mother which she could not discuss with anyone. One day, a male student who has not been attending school confesses that he likes her. However, he dies mysteriously the next day. Hinata takes action to determine the cause of his death and learns that the boy suffered insidious bullying at school and excessive meddling by his mother. He had a record of delinquency and kept rough company. Hinata is hounded by his mother who believes that she is responsible for her son's suicide, and is driven to the verge of breaking down.

The story follows Aya from the time she moves to Tokyo at age 23 up until she turns 40. Aya has to adjust to the different values and perceptions of the big city as she struggles with challenging situations. We get to follow Aya’s move from one neighborhood to another as she maneuvers her career and love life.

One day, a suspicious-looking audio CD is delivered to Shiroyama Kyosuke, the company president of Hinode Beer, the industry’s top brewer. Shiroyama is shaken by the contents which pin the company down for its past misdeeds.

The drama will center around how a 35 year old changes the school and influences her fellow classmates’ lives while dealing with the dark reality of today’s high schools, including bullying and skipping school.

Two women (both played by Nagasawa Masami), who look identical, search for the secret behind their births and, in the process, discover about forbidden medical technologies and the mystery of life.
