An original medical murder mystery surrounds an unknown killer coccus (bacteria), that leaves no trace in the victim's body, which enables it to be used as the perfect weapon to kill. Fujimaki Tatsuomi is a pathologist working at the Pathlogy department at Meikyo Medical University Hospital. He's looked down upon by the other staff around him, and his relationship with Maho his wife, a former nurse, has cooled down. After a patient's suspicious death, he makes a new discovery; when the deadly bacteria "Gift" invades the body, the patient soon dies, but the "Gift" leaves no trace thereafter, enabling it to be used as the perfect weapon to kill. As a result of this discovery, Fujimaki's life dramatically changes. Takano has been transferred to the Public Security Department, which is considered to be an elite among the Japanese police. A murder of a ruling party tycoon occurred near the scene of a bombing that occurred. An organ was removed from the body, and a balance with a heart and wings was left in the vicinity. Takano, who attended the scene of the bizarre incident, felt uncomfortable with the killing method that imitated ancient Egyptian mythology, and even though he began to tell the story, his colleague Himuro dismissed it.

University student Kuno Totono is the type who constantly questions what is taken for granted in society and develops his own theories based on his vast knowledge and unique set of values. Now, she is a cadet of the pilot. One day, Miyuki Amaya has a chance to get on the 6K, but she finds a tape in her father’s locker. The tape contains horrific images. The image is of an unknown giant creature and pilots that were left alone in the deep-sea. Her father's last moments are contained in the images. The images are totally different from she imagined as the beautiful deep-sea. Miyuki Amaya is now horrified. Can she safely return from the deep-sea?
