Sum-yuet can no longer avoid Siu-tin, who is a nightmare to her. Her marriage also has certain issues. Police officer Yeung Yan-hiu intervenes by launching an investigation, and she keeps going after Siu-tin and Chi-kiu. Unresolved grudges for thirty years are again put on the front burner. Everyone implicated in a robbery of yesteryear is drawn into this mess.

Ten years ago, Tong Waichong and Shum Aoming joined the ICAC together. They were trained together and they were brothers. Aoming was injured in a private act, and he resigned soon after, and has not been heard from since. Ten years later, Waichong has been promoted to the chief investigation officer, and led his subordinates such as Lee Zhunyi to maintain integrity and justice. When Waichong investigates a suspected bank employee corruption case, he discovers that Aoming is involved. It turned out that Aoming, relying on his past investigation experience in the ICAC, helped the criminal group to avoid the investigation of various criminal and anti-corruption agencies for many times. Waichong is distressed that his friend forgot his original intention of joining the ICAC to defend fairness and justice, and vowed to bring the criminal group to justice!

In the 1930s, Bo Ching-wan and his family have come to crime infested Tong Yan Street in Bangkok. His father Bo Tin-ha tragically dies after he has teamed up with Lin Chun-shan to rebel against Lo Heung-tung. Ching-wan’s younger brother and sister have also gone missing. His mother Ting Sai-fung has become emotionally unstable. Twenty-five years later, Ching-wan sets foot in Tong Yan Street again and encounters a swindler called Chin Chin-chin. Chun-shan’s son Lin Gik turns out to be a corrupt cop. His colluding partners Pang Kin and Kam Lung are bosses of the two most notorious gangs. Pang Kin’s only son returns to Bangkok with his fiancée Ching On-na. However, he is assassinated, causing the two gangs to clash with each other. Ching-wan establishes Overseas Chinese Society of Bangkok. Ching-wan and his partners encourage good deeds and punish the baddies. The Society is in disarray as it repeatedly faces up to difficulties. There is still a long way to go before the chums find peace.

Many people die as old-fashioned tenement Wai Lei Building abruptly collapses. Engineer Sze Kwong has conducted a survey of the building. He arbitrarily investigates the incident as he reckons the building collapse is shrouded in intrigue. While the incident is being unraveled, Sze Kwong’s girlfriend Cheung Man, who is some property developer’s lawyer, dies in a traffic accident. Then his younger half sister Auyeung Ka-shun meets her death. Sze Kwong is also silenced. Sze Kwong comes round and surprisingly returns to somewhere in time before the building collapses as the deity has given him a chance to live again! Sze Kwong suspects the building collapse has something to do with property developer Hong Wing-yan and his mentor Ying Yiu-wa. He wants to prevent the disaster from happening. To avoid implicating Cheung Man and Ka-chun, Sze Kwong decides not to recognize his sister and he also does not go out with Cheung Man. He just covertly watches over the duo.

Rewind eighteen years and youngster Chiu and his buddy Hung get into trouble when they play Ouija board, causing a family tragedy and Chiu’s parents’ awful deaths. Fortunately, sorcerer Wan Yuet-ping (Lee Shing Cheong) comes to their rescue, and a disaster is averted. Chiu decides to learn from Yuet-ping and become an exorcist. While investigating some haunted place, Chiu (Tony Hung) again runs into Hung (Fred Cheng). Actually, Hung has been living under the spell of the Ouija board ghost since that tragedy. Meanwhile, at an abandoned school, online presenter May (Kelly Fu), who produces spooky shows, is in a precarious situation as she retrieves some blue-and-white porcelain plate that was used to summon Ouija. Chiu rushes to the scene. Is he able to save May and exact revenge on the nasty ghost by exorcism?

Urban legends, seemingly true yet seemingly fantastical, connect the past and future. While conducting research at Bride’s Pool, professor of folkloristics Poon Dor-lai experiences what appears to be paranormal encounters, but soon uncovers criminal exploits behind it. She teams up with journalist Fu Chi-pok to probe into the matter, unravelling the unknown background of bride-to-be Wong Yuk. The two decide to team up to continue work on Chi-pok's missing father's research paper on urban legends, but in the process, they discover many cases that bear similarity to the legends and they begin to suspect his disappearance.
