Riho Sayashi

While Yuzu Hodaishi (Riho Sayashi) tried to find a decent job, she became hooked on a novel about yoghurt and became a big fan of the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus that appeared in the novel. Meanwhile, I is a lactobacillus bulgaricus and sees Yuzu Hodaishi. I jump out of the package of yoghurt and follow her as an invisible presence. After a year of trying to find a job, Yuzu Hodaishi finally gets hired by a food company in Meiwa and gets assigned to work for the company in Osaka. At first, she worked with the supermarket staff, but she was transferred to the PR department at the head office in Osaka. Her senior there is Itsumi Midori (Rio Asumi). Yuzu Hodaishi struggles with her life in unfamiliar Osaka and also her work in the PR department. She then gets assigned to work on a magazine article for Meiwa Yogurt's 50th anniversary. Saito Haruomi is a young man who moves from his hometown to Tokyo to attend a university. He begins to live in a lodging place that charges the low price of 10,000 yen per month. On his first day there, he meets a beautiful girl named Kokono. While making conversation with her, Saito Haruomi’s face blushes. He suffers from erythromania, which causes him to blush often. Saito Haruomi is excited to live with a such beautiful girl, but he soon discovers that Kokono is actually a man.

The story features two people who experience their first love late in life. Maruya Kosuke is a 29-year-old employee in the sales department of his family's brewery. Thanks to his good looks he was always popular, receiving many love confessions from women since his youth. However, he experiences a rude awakening the moment he realizes his cuteness has an expiry date. Sanada Izumi is a researcher at the brewery. Past experiences have led her to believe she is inferior to others.
