After spending 20 years behind bars for an act of self-defense, Amal regains her freedom and begins a journey to find the greatest loss of her life: her daughter, Worood.
A group of young Iraqis find themselves trapped between the harsh realities of life and the hope of escape or staying. This conflict drives them toward fateful decisions, under the influence of a mysterious figure named "Hur." But will they be able to overcome their past, or will the harsh realities of life hold them back?
The story takes place between 2014 and 2017 and deals with the events of Mosul during the years of its occupation by ISIS. It shows the tragic conditions that the people of Mosul experienced during that era and how the Iraqi Armed Forces, in partnership with the Peshmerga forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces, were able to defeat terrorism.
