The year is 1985. A radical left-wing family crash lands on Oslo's west side. Here, they have to fight against capitalists, socialists, cable TV and a growing right-wing wave.

The incredible story of Gro Harlem Brundtland, who in the late 70s works as a young doctor, fighting for self-determined abortion, when she almost by accident, stumbles into politics. As the government implodes around her, Gro learns to play her own games of power, climbing the ranks until she is the last woman standing in the ruins of Labour’s celebrated social democracy, ending up as Norway’s first female Prime Minister in 1981.

The place is Oslo, the year is 2002, and Roger Brown is a newly employed headhunter in an exclusive recruitment agency. He is given the prestigious task of finding a new top manager for the oil company Njord Oil. Roger is willing to do whatever it takes to quickly climb the career ladder. Takes place before the novel "Headhunters" by Jo Nesbø.
