Shirley Temple's Storybook is an American children's anthology series hosted and narrated by actress Shirley Temple. The series features adaptations of fairy tales like Mother Goose and other family-oriented stories performed by well-known actors, although one episode, an adaptation of The House of the Seven Gables, was meant for older youngsters. Temple's three children made their acting debuts in the last episode of the first season, "Mother Goose".

Storybook Squares is a short-lived Saturday morning version of Hollywood Squares for children. The primary difference, apart from having children as contestants, was that it featured celebrities in costume as well-known fictional characters and some as historical figures. As with the adult version, Peter Marshall was host and Kenny Williams was announcer; Williams read the characters' names off a scroll as "The Guardian of the Gate", a role similar to his "Town Crier" on Video Village. The series originally ran on NBC from January 4 to April 19, 1969, with repeats airing until August 30.

Storybook World is an animated series that was released on video. The opening, showed a castle and zoomed inside the castle which showed an enormous pile of books. One of the books opens, shows the title, and each page turning shows pictures of the featured cartoons. Cartoons that were made was "Goldilocks And The Three Bears", "Jack And The Beanstalk", and other familiar stories. There was other cartoons that was added, such as "The Baseball Bat", and "Teddy On Time". and "The Mystery Of The Missing Fuzzy". Many of the cartoons had a very low budget, and many of them had a bad animation quality. Most of the animation was a form of stop motion using the books original illustrations as templates. Occasionally cel animation was added, such as raindrops and the characters walking. The Mystery of the Missing Fuzzy and The Baseball Bat had slightly higher quality of animation. Several cartoons were released with the series that was previously aired on TV that were episodes of Famous Classic Tales, After School Specials, and other similar series, released by Kids Klassics. The original books were published by Troll Associates.

Storybook International is a British children's television series, produced for ITV by Harlech Productions, a part of HTV. The weekly, half-hour show was a collection of folk tales and fairy stories from all over the world, based on an anthology of stories for children published by Gollancz in 1981, edited by Veronica Kruger. Filmed in such locales as Russia, Ireland and Scandinavia, the series' live-action playlets were based on stories which originated in England, Czechoslovakia, France, Romania, Turkey, Wales, Israel, Norway, China, Africa, India and elsewhere. A few of the stories were campfire legends derived from the Native Americans of New England and the Maori of New Zealand. First broadcast in 1983, it consisted of 65 episodes, aired as three separate series. Although its distribution was originally confined to Britain and Europe, Storybook International enjoyed extensive cable play in the US, Scandinavia and the Middle East in subsequent decades. Fitfully released on VHS throughout the 1980s and 1990, the full series was finally made available on DVD in 2006. The show famously began with an animated title sequence with a troubadour singing the theme song, accompanied by a friendly anthropomorphic fox. The original version was sung in a traditional English folk style, but subsequent international versions had different versions of the song. Notably the US version replaced the line "In England I am John" with "In America I'm John".
